Managing Sources of Uncertainty in Utilizing AI in Development and Deployment of Safety-Critical Autonomous Systems- Presentation at SAML ’25

Date: April 1, 2025
Location: Odense, Denmark

SAFEXPLAIN project partner RISE presented as part of the 4th International Workshop on Software Architecture and Machine Learning. On 1 April 2025, Robert Lowe presented “Managing Sources of Uncertainty in Utilizing AI in Development and Deployment of Safety-Critical Autonomous Systems” by Robert Lowe, Maria Ulan, Thanh Bui, Ana Adell, Jokin Labaien and Axel Brando.

SAML 2025 was co-located with the 22nd IEEE International Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA) 2025, 31 March – 4 April, 2025, Odense, Denmark. SAML 2025 sought to bring together practitioners and the research community in one common platform to explore: i) how to come up with better SA practices for architecting ML-based systems; ii) how to leverage ML techniques to better architect software systems; iii) state of research and practice in architecting ML-based systems and in using ML techniques for architecting modern software systems. SAML 2025 also provided a common forum to bring together both practitioners and researchers of SA and ML communities to identify and fill the research gaps that can benefit both communities.
