SAFEXPLAIN partner, Carlo Donzella, from Exida Development SRL, has been invited to deliver the first keynote speech of the EV Era Forum session, as part of the 2024 InnoVEX Startup Exhibition, the Innovation Hub of Asia. The event will take place from 4-7 June 2024.

The keynote, “Enabling the Future of EV with Trustworthy, Safe and SecureAI”, will be delivered on 6 June 2024 at 13:30 at the InnoVEX Center Stage, opening for presentations on the topic of “Toward the EV Era”.

InnoVEX attracts global startups, industry buyers, executives and experts who are interested in the latest trends in innovation and technology. The major tech trends being addressed will include AI and its applications, smart vehicles, semiconductor applications and green technology.

Thanks to his long involvement in research and development and quality assurance, Carlo Donzella has been invited to share his expertise at this event. His speech will focus on the importance of AI, specifically in the form of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) for future advanced functions in critical autononous AI-based systems, including electric vehcles. He will share his experience in the developments and challenges in this area, especially with regard to the ability of the sector to design, implement, qualify and certify ML/DL-based cost-effective products. Initial results and experiences from dedicated standards and R&D projects, like SAFEXPLAIN, will be drawn on to highight practical examples and known issues and possible solutions.

Carlo´s participation in InnoVEX offers the opportunity to showcase European technology and advancements through the timely contributions of the SAFEXPLAIN project. Accessing this community of global innovators will help expands the potential reach of the project results and network.
